Preview emails let you see how your email will look in an inbox and help you tweak its design.
If links in the preview don’t work and just point to your event’s front page, it’s because they are personalized links such as links for the registration pages, order confirmations, or material downloads. These only work when tied to a specific person in the system.
The same applies to personal details like first name or last name — these fields won’t show properly in a preview because they need to be linked to an actual person in the system.
To test your links and fields, add yourself to the invitation or participant list. When you receive the email as a real recipient, you’ll be able to see if everything is working as intended.
