Why does my email say “Sending”?

When your email dispatch is marked as “sending,” it means the system is still processing and delivering it. This can take some time, depending on the number of recipients, the contents of the e-mail and the system’s workload.

An email dispatch is only marked as “delivered” once all emails have been sent or any failed deliveries have been reported. Sometimes, the entire dispatch remains as “sending” because a single email is still being processed, even if the rest have already been sent.
