Prepare everything before you submit
Follow the six steps below to prepare the app details, colours, graphic files and test event.
Choose the app name
Name requirements
- Maximum 30 characters, including spaces
- Use the same name in the App Store and Google Play
- Choose wording that is easy to recognise and search for
- Confirm the final spelling and capitalisation
Clear, concise and suitable for both app stores.
Choose four app colours
Choose Primary, Secondary, Tertiary and Error as complete six-character HEX values. The app also uses a fixed white system colour for input fields, cards and text on dark surfaces. Fixed white is built into the app and is not submitted.
The colour system is inspired by Material You / Material 3’s dynamic colour approach: Primary, Secondary and Tertiary are applied consistently across components, while the app structure and fixed white surfaces remain unchanged.

Submit four colours: Primary, Secondary, Tertiary and Error. Fixed white #FFFFFF is a built-in system colour and must not be added as an extra colour.
Prepare the app icons
Use one clear, recognisable symbol and prepare the same final artwork for both stores in the required sizes. The example below follows the visual direction of the current CM Events icon while using the custom brand palette.
The custom icon may use your own brand, but it should remain clear at small sizes and feel related to the app’s colour system.

A simple mark is easier to recognise than a detailed illustration, screenshot or collection of small elements.
Keep the important mark away from the outer edge so it remains balanced after the stores apply their presentation.
Reduce the icon to approximately notification size. The central mark should still be easy to identify.

Choose your app colours
Use the colour picker or enter a complete HEX value.
Enter four six-character HEX values. The app also uses fixed white #FFFFFF for input fields, white cards and text on dark surfaces; fixed white is not an additional field.
Upload your logo
Select the logo you want to test inside the app.
Test event and comments
Add the final details needed for testing.
Support access must be granted from inside the test event in Conference Manager.
