With Wallet pass, participants can save their ticket directly to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet and have it ready on their phone when they need to register.
Wallet pass as an additional ticket format
Wallet pass can be used as a digital alternative to the regular ticket. The participant saves the ticket on their smartphone and can then open it directly from their Wallet.
The regular ticket and Wallet pass work independently of each other. You can therefore activate Wallet pass whether or not you have created a regular ticket.
Activate Wallet pass
Wallet pass is activated under the confirmation and ticket settings for the event.

Activate Wallet pass so participants can save their digital ticket to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet and use it for registration.
- Open Event → Confirmation and ticket.
- Select the Wallet pass tab.
- Activate Wallet pass.
Make sure the Wallet link is shown in the order confirmation
Participants can access Wallet pass through the registration overview linked from their order confirmation. You can also send their personal View and manage registration link in a separate email. The Wallet link is shown in the same box as the link to the CM Events app.
Important: The link to the CM Events app must also be activated in the order confirmation. The CM Events and Wallet links are shown in the same box, so the Wallet link will not be included if this box is not activated.
Wallet pass and the regular ticket work independently
You do not need to choose between the two. Wallet pass can be activated even if you have not created a regular ticket, and the regular ticket can still be used when Wallet is activated.
What is shown on the Wallet pass?
Wallet pass has a fixed, simple layout with the key information needed by the participant and for registration.
The logo is taken from the event website and shown at the top of the Wallet pass.
The event name is shown next to the logo and again in the event details.
The event start date and time are shown on the Wallet pass.
The QR code is shown with the participant ID beneath it and can be used in the same way as the QR code on the regular ticket and in CM Events.
What can the QR code be used for?
Arrival registration
Scan the QR code when the participant arrives to register their arrival.
Participant registration
The QR code can also be used when registering participant choices, for example options or programme sessions.
Lead scanning
The QR code can be scanned for lead scanning, allowing exhibitors to register participants as leads.

Logo and design for Wallet pass
Wallet pass does not inherit the design of the regular ticket. The background is always white, and the logo is taken from the website.
The Wallet pass always has a white background. Colours and the background from the regular ticket are not transferred.
The logo from the website is also used on Wallet pass.
A white or very light logo can be difficult to see on the white Wallet pass. If possible, use a version with sufficient contrast.
If you have several versions of your logo, choose one for the website that also works well on the white Wallet pass.
Wallet pass is a static file. Once a participant has added the pass to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, it is not updated automatically. If you later change information used on the pass, such as the event logo or event name, the version already saved in the participant’s Wallet will remain unchanged.
Give participants access after registration
If Wallet pass is activated after participants have already received their order confirmation, you can send them their personal View and manage registration link.

Send participants a separate email with their personal View and manage registration link. The link gives them access to their registration overview, where they can view their registration details and download their Wallet pass.
Identity verification: If two-factor protection is enabled for the event, participants may be asked to verify their identity when they access their registration to download the Wallet pass.
