How to activate Wallet pass

With Wallet pass, participants can save their ticket directly to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet and have it ready on their phone when they need to register.

Wallet pass as an additional ticket format

Wallet pass can be used as a digital alternative to the regular ticket. The participant saves the ticket on their smartphone and can then open it directly from their Wallet.

The regular ticket and Wallet pass work independently of each other. You can therefore activate Wallet pass whether or not you have created a regular ticket.

Activate Wallet pass

Wallet pass is activated under the confirmation and ticket settings for the event.

Activate Wallet pass so participants can save their digital ticket to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet and use it for registration.

  1. Open Event → Confirmation and ticket.
  2. Select the Wallet pass tab.
  3. Activate Wallet pass.

The participant accesses Wallet pass from the order confirmation. The Wallet link is shown in the same box as the link to the CM Events app.

Important: The link to the CM Events app must also be activated in the order confirmation. The CM Events and Wallet links are shown in the same box, so the Wallet link will not be included if this box is not activated.

If the participant has already received their confirmation

If you activate Wallet pass after a participant has already received their order confirmation, the previous email will not contain the Wallet link. Resend the confirmation.

Participants→Participant list→Click the participant’s name→Resend confirmation
  1. Go to Participants → Participant list.
  2. Click the participant’s name to open Personal information.
  3. Click Resend confirmation on the right.

Wallet pass and the regular ticket work independently

You do not need to choose between the two. Wallet pass can be activated even if you have not created a regular ticket, and the regular ticket can still be used when Wallet is activated.

What is shown on the Wallet pass?

Wallet pass has a fixed, simple layout with the key information needed by the participant and for registration.

Event logo

The logo is taken from the event website.

Event name

The event name is shown on the Wallet pass.

Participant ID

The participant’s individual ID is shown on the ticket.

QR code

The QR code contains the participant ID and is used in the same way as the QR code on the regular ticket and in CM Events.

What can the QR code be used for?

Arrival registration

Scan the QR code when the participant arrives to register their arrival.

Participant registration

The QR code can also be used when registering participant choices, for example options or programme sessions.

Lead scanning

The QR code can be scanned for lead scanning, allowing exhibitors to register participants as leads.
