What is the difference between personal email addresses and group emails when adding potential participants to the invitation list?

When adding potential participants to your invitation list, you can choose between two options:

  • Personal email addresses
    • Add specific people to your invitation list using their personal email addresses.
    • You can add their name, making it possible to personalize the invitation.
    • Send individual invitations and reminders, manually register them, and track rejections.
    • This option gives you control over who receives the invitation.
  • Group emails
    • Send impersonal invitations to a broader or unknown group of recipients.
    • Anyone who receives the invitation email can register for the event if the participant category and the website is open.
    • The invitation email can also be forwarded to others, allowing even more people to sign up.
    • This option is useful when you do not have names and personal email addresses for all potential participants.

Tip:

  • Use Personal email addresses when you want to target specific individuals, personalize invitations with names, and track responses.
  • Use Group emails when you want to reach a wider audience, knowing that the invitation can be forwarded and shared.
